 Verified Unforgettable 40th Birthday Dive – Incredible Reef! "We had a fantastic experience at Roatan Diving School. Nick Powers was extremely communicative and made everything easy, responding quickly to all my emails before we arrived.The dive shop itself is beautiful, but the best part was being able to dive right off the back porch into some of the most amazing coral I have ever seen. It was the perfect way to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday. We loved it so much that we are already planning to bring our six children back for a full week of diving. Highly recommend!"

As a parent of a neurodivergent child, I am beyond grateful for the patience and care Dawn, Nick and Caroline took to teach my daughter to become scuba certified! They instinctively knew how to teach my daughter in a way that was accessible.Dawn broke down each skill in easy to understand /age appropriate wording, gave sensory breaks, and used positive reinforcement to keep her engaged and build her confidence.10/10 , we will definitely be back!!

 Verified One of the best places to dive and stay! Incredible experience, will come back asap. Ricardo is friendly, empathic, proactive and has a happy energy. We is a really good experienced instructor, he took us to great diving points and went with us to the shark dive. The installations are beautiful, beachfront and safe.  Verified Highly Reccomend! Headed to Roatan for mine and my partners Open Water Referral. Reached out to Roatan Diving School before coming and they were very helpful and responded quickly. Once here we had horrible weather for our open water and they were very great with ensuring we were safe and comfortable the entire time. We ended up doing multiple dives and got to experience some amazing things in our week! Each dive was unique and different and we always felt safe. Nick, Adam and Ricky were all amazing and we are already planning our next trip back!

 Verified Excellent People and Experience. My partner and I came to Roatan to complete our SSI Open Water certification, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Nick, our instructor, was fantastic—he made us feel really comfortable while performing skills and made our certification dives a great experience. Ricardo, the boat captain, was amazing, always keeping us safe and ensuring we had a great time. Thanks to his knowledge of the ocean, we even got the rare opportunity to swim with a whale shark, which was an unforgettable experience! Adam was an excellent guide on our fun dives. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the area, and he did a great job of gauging our skill levels and making sure we were comfortable with everything we did while also making sure we got to see really great stuff. The entire team at Roatan Diving School was top-notch, making sure we felt safe and had an amazing experience from start to finish.I highly recommend Roatan Diving School for anyone looking to get certified or just go diving in this beautiful area. If you plan on exploring the beautiful coasts of Roatan, then I recommend experiencing it with the best scuba diving program on the island. My group’s instructor, Raid, was not only fun and friendly, but she also was understanding and very knowledgeable. Instead of rushing through lessons, she took her time and made sure everyone was comfortable and prepared. As her student, it was apparent how much she loves what she does which makes the whole experience that much better! The community with this diving program was personal and felt more than a transactional one. My group plans on coming back again and I encourage you to give them a try!

I am so sorry for the late review! But I wanted to make I still left one. I had the most amazing experience for my birthday by receiving my free driving certification. Ricardo is such a kind man. So patience and supportive and very knowledgeable. He made sure to encourage me and that I felt comfortable. It was a blessing to learn from him. Honestly the entire staff was so welcoming. This place is very special! If you have the opportunity to come to Roatan Diving School, do it. I came here in May 2026 to complete my open water certification. I was very nervous. The professionalism and competence of everyone I encountered at the school put me at ease. It was great to see people working in what they love to do. I worked with Mairead as my instructor. She is amazing! Super talented, and so patient. I went from never diving to completing my advanced open water training in 10 days. The time I spent diving at Roatan Diving School was a healing experience for me. I would a hundred times over recommend you come to this school and work with them. This school is a hidden gem.

I had an absolutely outstanding experience with Warfighter Scuba and Roatan Dive School—easily a 5-star operation. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, safety, and genuine passion for diving. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to make sure you feel comfortable and confident, whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver. Their attention to detail and focus on safety really stood out, without ever taking away from the fun. The dive sites around Roatan were nothing short of spectacular—crystal clear water, vibrant coral, and an abundance of marine life. The team knew exactly where to go to give us the best possible experience. What really sets them apart is the atmosphere. You’re not just another customer—you’re treated like part of the crew. Laid-back, friendly, and highly skilled, they made every dive memorable. If you’re diving in Roatan, this is the team you want. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I took the AIDA 2 course at Freediving Caribbean School, and we honestly had such a great experience. We both know the ocean well and have spent a lot of time in it, but we had never really learned how to freedive properly or safely go deeper. Eric, our instructor, and the whole team were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. They explained everything clearly, were patient with us, and helped us improve while always making sure we felt safe and comfortable. By the end of the course, we were both diving to 20 meters, using Frenzel equalization, and holding our breath for more than three minutes. We really didn’t expect to make that much progress so quickly. If you love the ocean and want to learn how to freedive safely and properly, I highly recommend Freediving Caribbean School. The course completely changed the way we experience the underwater world. It was truly a five-star experience.

I had an incredible experience with this freediving school. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Ricardo is incredibly passionate about freediving and, more importantly, genuinely cares about growing the freediving community and helping others discover the sport. The school is a nice set up, plenty of room for stretching, secure storage for your gear, hammocks for post dive naps. Whether you are looking for AIDA, Malchanovs, SSI certification courses, fun dives or just getting out to train, this is the place. Safety is clearly a top priority, and the level of experience and knowledge really shows. I always felt like I was in capable hands, with thoughtful instruction and a strong emphasis on proper technique, safety, and enjoying the dive. It’s rare to find a school that combines such a welcoming atmosphere with this level of professionalism and passion for the sport. Whether you’re completely new to freediving or an experienced diver looking to improve your skills, I would absolutely recommend this school. I’m already looking forward to going back to Roatan.

I finally had the chance to conduct my AIDA training. My experience with the whole team here at FCS was amazing. Thanks to my instructor Eric, I have reached all my goals, and special thanks to Ricardo for extra coaching during my dives. I strongly recommend this school either for courses or training. Todo está muy bien pensado para quienes van a entrenar apnea, hospedaje muy cómodo en el mismo lugar, espacios al aire libre para estirar o hacer yoga, y la lancha sale directamente desde ahí hacia los sitios de entrenamiento, que están muy cerca. Además, hay restaurantes y supermercados ahí nomas. Muy buen ambiente, gente muy piola y una ubicación ideal para enfocarse en entrenar. Super recomiendo🌈

I had an amazing experience training here during my time in Roatán. From day one, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Ricardo and the whole team are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about freediving. The safety standards are some of the best I’ve experienced, which allowed me to fully focus on my training and enjoy every session. Great people, great energy, and an amazing place to train. Ricardo, Caro, Erik , Carlos and the rest of the gang made everyone feel at home immediately. If you looking for somewhere on Roatan to train or do a course Freediving Carribbean is the place to go ! Yo Tenía un poco de experiencia haciendo Freediving y luego de hablar con Ricardo, muy acertadamente me Sugirió hacer el curso Wave 2 de Molchabov. Lo cual fue un éxito total !! El instructor Eric es un genio, muy preciso en las correcciones, tiene una gran  capacidad de reconocer que necesitas para mejorar y decirte en el momento indicado . No dudo nunca en poner lo mejor de él para  ayudarme. Tengo que mencionar especialmente el espacio y la infraestructura espectacular ya que uno puede ir antes para hacer sus ejercicios de preparación , estiramientos , respiraciones, lo Cual es muy muy cómodo contar con ese espacio . Todo el equipo de trabajo y los colegas buzos siempre me he sentido en un ambiente muy amigable y buena onda . Gracias porque me llevo una experiencia genial y una herramienta fundamental para mi trabajo como  Capitán que la voy a seguir usando por siempre .
